Everyone always makes me really really really want to watch Lost, but I feel so behind. Perhaps I should catch up this summer as well.

I think Fringe may be better than LOST right now.

Don’t get me wrong, LOST blows my mind every time, but it’s expected whereas Fringe is off the walls in sci-fi pseudoscience mindgames.

But seriously, if you like LOST, you will enjoy the crap out of Fringe.

 Yeah, I think I’m gonna start watching Fringe tomorrow.

Oh geez, I freaking LOVE Fringe!!! This is confirming my thinking that I should get into watching Lost. Dang.

I’ve never felt so proud of failing a portion of a final exam… at least I did better than the majority of the class :D I’ve also never been so happy about having had to write four essays for a final. Now I see why Dr. P had us do that - if my final consisted of nothing other than that grade, I’d be super duper worried right now. But thankfully, I kick ass at writing essays pertaining to ethical theories. Now I just wish he’d grade those!

Soldiers' Angels: "May No Soldier Go Unloved"

For years I’ve loved the quote “If you give, you begin to live” that’s in (of course!) a Dave Matthews Band song. I love the song, and I love that line like no other.

I love community service, but back in high school I never had much time to do anything. I did Habitat for Humanity twice, and gave blood every once in awhile.

Well, I want to get back to doing more community service. A couple friends and I are going to be participating in Habitat for Humanity next semester, and couldn’t be any more excited!

But, back to the link. I wanted to start something now (probably because I’m procrastinating studying for finals), and came across this “Adopt a soldier” thing. I’m so glad I signed up for this! Over the next 6-12 months I will be sending a letter to a soldier every week, and at least one (small) care package a month.

There’s a bunch of other ways to contribute on the website - for example, a group that solely sends letters, as some people might not be able to afford sending monthly packages. It’s a great thing, and I’m so excited to get started! :)
